Rescue bridles are the best substitute for iron chains in the event of getting stuck in a snowy or muddy area from which we cannot get out, thanks to the ease and speed of installation and a much more economical price.
For a correct application of the rescue flanges we will need between 5 and 6 flanges for each traction wheel (they can also be applied to the wheels without traction). We will install them in 6 simple steps:
- We will pass the flanges inside the rim, inserting the part where there is the fastener first.
- The spiked part should be visible on the wheel.
- Make sure that the spiked part points upwards and not towards the wheel.
- Once we have the spiked part on the wide part of the wheel, we close the flange and tighten it.
- The part that closes the flange must remain on the outer side of the wheel.
- If we can, we cut off the excess part of the flange seal.
The flanges must be very close to the wheel, they cannot be under tension because they can break and stop doing their job.
⚠ Its application is only necessary in emergency cases where the vehicle is stuck in mud or snow. Any use in good road conditions can be dangerous.
