What are the cable feedthroughs for? Options and functions
Tapper Sealing Technology AB's cable and pipe feedthroughs are used in ventilation systems where many cables must enter and exit through sheet metal. Therefore, it is necessary to:
- Protect the cables from the sharp edges of the sheet metal.
- Keep dust out
- Ease of installation (No tools required)
- Hermetic sealing around the cable thanks to the push-out membrane
- Hole sealing and cable protection.

Klikseal
It is a revolutionary two-component wall with cable anchorage, very compact, it adjusts to the thickness of the surrounding wall (patented), it is fixed by a click (patented), it is watertight, it has a membrane seal.
Its installation is very easy, in fact, it requires no tools and its membrane is a permanent seal until it is penetrated by the cable or pipe.
Rutaseal
This product is mainly focused on strip light manufacturers and similar applications. It stands out for its ease of use, it does not require tools to install, nor scissors or others to make the hole. In this way the IP rating of the closure is not compromised.
It has been tested to IP67 both internally and externally, and produced with EPDM or chloroprene in both PG and metric.
TSS
This product has multiple features that make it different from the others. Firstly, it can be used with a wide range of cable cross-sections. Secondly, it has a push-out membrane with round opening and guarantees IP67.
Its design is prepared to be securely fixed in the opening even when installing larger cables and equipped with a sleeve that closes around the cable allowing it to be moved like a "joystick" in the opening without compromising IP protection.
Finally, we also have the TSS Multi range, a version identical to the TSS but with the possibility to install up to three cables in a single opening.
DAF
Is the new concept of configurable cable entry panel with a lot of protection and flexibility. Its two modules give it versatility, as they can change according to the needs. It can combine different types of sealing or wall bushings and even traditional cable glands, and if our watertight membrane sealing is not sufficient, Klikseal can be installed.
Its design is compact and easy to install, just put the modules (made of fiberglass reinforced polypropylene for rigidity) together, place them in the frame and install it. The TPE rubber allows the incorporation of push-out membranes with exceptional properties such as sealing.
Finally, its customization makes it unique. Now you can decide the size of the openings, the number and how you want to arrange them, and if you want to change them in the future you will only have to replace the module you want.
